What stays on your device
Calculator inputs are processed in your browser. Calculator values, intermediate math steps, result summaries, favorites, theme preference, and recent result features can be processed or stored locally in your browser. Local storage belongs to your device and can be cleared through your browser settings.
What may leave your device
Normal website requests can include technical data such as page URL, browser type, device type, approximate region, referrer, and performance signals. If you submit the contact form, your submitted message details are sent so the request can be reviewed.
Calculator input values
CalculTools does not collect calculator input values on a CalculTools server for calculation. Do not place passwords, government IDs, private medical records, full financial statements, or confidential business records into any free online tool.
Analytics consent
Analytics storage is denied by default until the visitor accepts analytics in the privacy choice banner. Declining keeps analytics storage denied. Analytics is used to understand page usage, navigation, device type, and performance trends.
Google Analytics
CalculTools uses Google Analytics measurement ID G-0T2MWD91ZN. Analytics is not part of the calculator engine and should not receive the numbers you enter into calculator fields as calculation payloads.
Estimate and verification reminder
Calculator results are estimates for learning and planning. Verify finance, health, tax, legal, engineering, construction, or official decisions with a qualified professional or official source.
Advertising and consent readiness
CalculTools may later use advertising services such as Google AdSense. If advertising is enabled, advertising partners may use cookies or similar signals for delivery, measurement, fraud prevention, frequency limits, or personalization where allowed. Advertising remains separate from formulas, inputs, and results.
Contact form submissions
If you contact CalculTools, the submitted details may include your name, email address, topic, page URL, and message. Correction reports are most useful when they include the calculator URL, the input values used, the result shown, and the expected result.
