Publisher and responsibility
CalculTools is published and maintained by Salah Chakir, an independent builder and technical editor based in Morocco. General questions, corrections, accessibility reports, and publisher inquiries can be sent through the contact page.
Data Sovereignty & Local-First Processing Architecture
Calculator inputs run inside the visitor browser. Results are estimates and should be verified for important financial, medical, tax, legal, construction, or official decisions. The core calculator experience does not need a login, account, subscription, or cloud calculation server. This makes the site fast and reduces unnecessary handling of personal calculation data.
Most calculator math runs locally on the page after the raw HTML form loads.
Priority pages show formulas, examples, assumptions, and result interpretation.
Thin, duplicate, or overlapping calculators can stay usable while being protected from search indexing.
Review workflow
- Check that the form has clear labels and safe input limits.
- Compare formulas against standard math relationships or common industry formulas.
- Test simple examples by hand where possible.
- Add category-specific limitations for finance, health, tax, construction, engineering, and business calculators.
- Keep weak or duplicate pages out of XML sitemaps until they are improved.
Editorial independence
Calculator formulas, examples, related links, explanations, and result warnings are not controlled by advertisers. If ads are enabled later, ads should stay visually separated from inputs, formulas, and results.
Trust and correction pages
