Translation safety rules
CalculTools will avoid spammy machine-translated pages by separating the translation system from the live English site until localized pages are complete.
- Do not create language URLs before page content is translated.
- Do not add hreflang entries for missing localized pages.
- Do not translate formulas, units, calculator IDs, JavaScript selectors, JSON keys, or URL slugs automatically.
- RTL languages must set dir=rtl and pass mobile layout checks.
- Localized pages must include translated title, description, H1, navigation, calculator labels, result labels, FAQ, trust notes, and legal links.
RTL preparation
Right-to-left support is prepared for اردو, العربية, فارسی, עברית. These languages need mobile checks for calculator buttons, result boxes, breadcrumbs, language cards, and footer links before publishing.
What is not live yet
No Spanish, French, Arabic, German, Portuguese, or other translated calculator URLs are published in this version. This protects crawl quality and avoids broken hreflang signals.
