Corrections

Corrections Policy

CalculTools is built to improve over time. Formula clarity, examples, labels, and calculator logic can be corrected when issues are found.

What can be corrected

  • Calculation logic errors.
  • Wrong units, labels, or rounding behavior.
  • Unclear formulas or examples.
  • Broken internal links or redirects.
  • Outdated explanations or page structure.
  • Missing disclaimers on sensitive topics.

How to send a strong correction report

The best reports include the calculator URL, the exact input values, the result shown, the expected result, and the reason or source that supports the correction.

How corrections are handled

  1. The report is reviewed against the formula and expected use case.
  2. If the issue is confirmed, the calculation logic, copy, schema, redirects, or sitemap status can be updated.
  3. High-risk issues affecting finance, health, construction, tax, or engineering pages receive higher priority.
  4. Weak pages may stay noindexed until the correction and explanation quality are strong enough.
